Meet Bob
Bob didn’t start out in the executive suite. His career began deep in the engineering world, designing semiconductors and writing automation software. Over more than 20 years, he climbed the ladder at companies like Crusoe Energy, Charter Communications, Lattice Semiconductor, and Freescale (formerly Motorola Semiconductor). Along the way he found himself leading massive, billion-dollar programs.
Time and again, he was the guy they called to solve the complex problems. He’s turned around struggling global teams, cut product development times in half, and managed everything from R&D labs to complex corporate-wide change initiatives. He has mentored his share of managers, coached key leaders to become more confident and assertive, and led teams of over 200 people.
During one of these programs, Bob asked a senior VP, “What do you need me to tackle next?” The reply was “Bob, just keep doing Bob-things. I trust you. You have a way of finding things to fix and then fix them the right way.”

But along the way, Bob realized something important. The spreadsheets, the project plans, and the deadlines… none of them were the key to real, lasting success and fulfillment. The real key was the character and integrity of person leading the team. He had to learn that for himself. Instead of chasing the next title, he sought to find a more meaningful purpose.
For Bob, this all comes back to his Christian faith. It’s the bedrock for how he sees the world and his belief in bold authentic servant leadership — the simple idea that leaders are there to build up their people. His 40-year faith journey, with all its ups and downs, showed him that his true calling wasn’t about his own achievements, or money, or fame, but about helping others and meeting them right where they are. It’s a mission he finds reflected in his life verse, James 1:2-4, which talks about how life’s challenges are what ultimately make us stronger and more complete.
This commitment to helping others lead well is what drove Bob to pursue a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University. He knew that blending his decades of in-the-trenches experience with a deep, academic understanding of leadership theory would create a powerful foundation to help others navigate their own complex challenges. It’s one more step on his journey to master the art and science of building healthier, more effective leaders. This gives clients the confidence to know that the Integrated Leadership model is backed by deep academic research.
And that’s exactly why he founded Aspen Grove Leadership Solutions. He brings together all that real-world experience—from the engineering bench to the boardroom—with a deep commitment to helping people lead from a place of wholeness; a place of total integration and congruency. He partners with leaders to get past the quick fixes and do the hard, but rewarding work of becoming what he calls an Integrated Leader: someone who is internally mature, boldly authentic, and deeply integrated in mind, body, and spirit.
Bob knows that when leaders do this courageous “inside-out” work, they don’t just become better leaders. They build healthier, more resilient, and truly excellent organizations.
Bob’s guidance is backed by decades of real-world experience and a commitment to lifelong learning.
